So finally the wait is over. Samsung is releasing their new flagship smartphone, i.e. Samsung Galaxy S IV. The successor phone of Samsung Galaxy S will be released in New York this year on 14th of March.
Reuters reported that:
“The announcement is happening in New York this year.”
While addressing the media Samsung’s Electronics’ mobile division chief JK Shin told that:
“We introduced the Galaxy S III in London last year, and this time we changed the venue (to New York)… as we were bombarded with requests from U.S. mobile carriers to unveil the Galaxy S IV in the country.”
Most of the people were thinking that Samsung will announce the new Samsung Galaxy S IV in MWC event. But it’s no wonder for those who has already read the news of HTC not announcing their flagship in MWC.
MWC however is considered the biggest mobile industry event but Samsung and HTC both has pulled their hands off the announcements of their flagship smartphones.
No specification has been released of the new upcoming flagship smartphone of Samsung, i.e. Samsung Galaxy S IV. The image however was out a long time ago. According to rumors, the new smartphone will feature Exynos 5 8-core processor, a 4.99’’ inch full HD screen, 2GB of RAM, a 13-MP of camera and Android 4.2.2.
We’ll not be there in NY to cover the announcements and live telecast, but we will still try to keep you updated with the latest specs and features of the phone on March 14.
