Rumor: Apple Will Release iPhone Mini This Summer

iPhone App

So this is going to be another good news for Apple lovers after listening to iWatch. Apple is rumoured to release the next iPhone, i.e. iPhone Mini in the coming summers. The phone will be comparatively cheaper and smaller than the bigger version.

There is a great need of developing cheaper cellphones because of the emerging mobile markets like in China and Brazil have snapped up the iPad mini. The point was made clear by the Morgan Stanley managing director of the PC hardware industry, Katy Huberty. He also met the Chief Financial Officer of Apple, Peter Oppenheimer.

She further said:

iPad Mini is expanding Apple’s customer base with 50 [percent] of purchases in China/Brazil representing new customers to the ecosystem.”

Chinese consumers showed a great interest in iPad Mini and also showed some response for buying the latest models of the iPhone instead of older smartphones.

She expects that new carrier partnership will take place in the second quarter of the next year with companies includes T-Mobile, China Mobile, and NTT Docomo, preparing for expanding new markets like the one in China and also the existing ones.

She also points out a fact that people are interested in low price cellphones, because we saw a great number of iPhone 4 buyers in December 2012. While pointing out the reason she told that that increase in the demand of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s was because of lower prices and lack of innovation in iPhone 5s.

She said:

iPhone 4 demand surprised to the upside in the December quarter.”

Together with the rumor of iPhone Mini she said that the fresh version of iPad could launch anytime in the middle of the year.

Well as far as I know summers come in the middle of the year so if these rumors created by the woman are correct could we see Apple launching two devices together in the same event? For the answer stick with us.
