Nokia has updated its music application for Lumia phones, it is Music+. The application now includes an option of premium subscription.
For just 3.99$ per month the user with existing music streaming service of Nokia can upgrade to Music+. The premium subscription includes unlimited music downloads and exciting unlimited skips in the Mix Radio portion.
The new service, Music+, also allows karaoke style lyric sheets for current songs and HQ sound quality of the music to the listener. The music can also be streamed with the browser, making it the alternative application of Spotify on both desktop and mobile.
The application still allows a lot of cool features for non-premium subscribers as well, with access to the list of 17 million tracks available through Mix Radio. Users can make their own playlists or chose from 150 specially curated playlists.
The vice president of Nokia Entertainment, Jyrki Rosenberg, told the Nokia conversation blog:
“It’s the only smartphone music service out there offering access to millions of songs out of the box without the need to sign up, sign in, or suffer adverts in between enjoying the music.”
He further told:
“When you add in the ability to skip songs and save playlists for offline uses like the tube, you have something unique. This is for people who care enough about music to pay something for more quality and choice, but don’t want to pay €9.99 monthly.”
Soon the application will be released and presented throughout the United States and other European countries and territories.
